Who we are

This service is a practice tool for preparing for IELTS on your own. It is operated by Tilmashq. Questions and requests: support@tilmashq.com.

This website

The landing page collects no personal data: there are no forms, no sign-up and no login. The only thing we use is Google Analytics, and only after your explicit consent: nothing is loaded and no cookies are set until you press “Allow”. You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. Nothing that identifies an individual is sent to analytics.

Analytics in the trainer

The trainer at app.tilmashq.com also uses Google Analytics, under the same rules and again only with your consent: until you choose “Allow”, analytics is not loaded and no cookies are set. Consent is asked separately from this website, and you can change or withdraw it at any time in the trainer’s Settings. We count only screens and actions — for example, starting and finishing a test, the band received, points spent. Neither the identifier from your browser, nor the recovery code, nor the text of essays and answers is sent to analytics; IP addresses are anonymised and Google’s advertising features are turned off.

Where the data is stored

The trainer has no accounts and no sign-up. On first launch, a random identifier is created in your browser; it is not tied to a name, email or phone number. The server keeps next to it only what the service needs: scores of completed tests with dates, your points balance and, once payments exist, a note that access has been paid for. Your answers and essay texts stay on your device; switching browsers or clearing its data may lose them, so the trainer offers a recovery code for moving to another device. The tests and materials themselves are stored separately and are not linked to you.

Essay marking and third-party models

Writing essays are marked by a language model. To do that, the essay text is sent to a third-party model provider through the OpenRouter service (see their privacy policy) — which may be a company outside Uzbekistan. Nothing that ties the text to you is sent with it: neither the identifier from your browser nor your IP — only the essay text, the task and the marking criteria. Our server only forwards the essay for marking and does not store it. Before the first check, the trainer asks for your consent to this with a separate checkbox. Please do not put your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, home address, document numbers or other details about yourself or people close to you into an essay. More generally, do not write anything into an essay that you would not want anyone to see.

Speaking and the microphone

For the Speaking section the trainer asks for access to your microphone. Speech is recognised by a model running right in your browser: the recordings of your answers are kept only in the memory of the open tab, are never uploaded, and are wiped when you leave the page or order a review. The browser downloads the model itself once from Hugging Face and keeps it locally; like any website, Hugging Face sees your IP address during the download, but your voice is not sent there. While the test is in progress, the recognised text of your answers is saved on our server together with the attempt, so that it is not lost if the page reloads, and it is deleted from the server once the test is finished; a copy of the text stays on your device. If you order a review, the transcript — text only, no audio — is sent for marking the same way as an essay: through OpenRouter and only after a separate consent checkbox. Please do not say your name, address, phone number or other details about yourself or people close to you in your answers.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete everything stored on the server under your identifier — write to privacy@tilmashq.com and include the recovery code from the trainer so we know which identifier you mean. Data on your own device you delete yourself by clearing the site data in your browser. Consent to analytics is withdrawn with one click on the site.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top; we will announce material changes inside the service.
