What is inside
Listening — approx. 30 min, one pass
Audio plays once, as in the exam. Every task format: notes, tables, maps, diagrams, matching.
Reading — 60 minutes, 40 questions
Three academic passages, TRUE/FALSE/NOT GIVEN, matching, headings, drag-and-drop summaries — just like the CBT.
Writing — marked by criteria
Task 1 and Task 2 are marked on TA/TR, CC, LR and GRA: a band per criterion, an overall band and feedback with a rewritten sample.
Speaking — new, approx. 20 min
Three parts, as in the exam: the examiner asks the questions aloud, you answer into the microphone, and Part 2 gives you a task card and a minute to prepare. Afterwards — a transcript of your answers and feedback on fluency, vocabulary and grammar with a stronger version of your Part 2 answer.
Your voice stays with you
Speech is recognised right in your browser; the recording is never uploaded or stored. Only the text goes to review, and only if you ask for one. Pronunciation is not assessed yet: the review sees only the recognised text.
An honest band score
Scored with the official conversion tables, plus an answer key with every question broken down afterwards.
